Our 61st Neurology on Wheels camp was successfully conducted at Mannegunta Village, Chillakur Mandal, in collaboration with the Lions Club, Gudur.
“We Reach, We Teach, We Treat.”
Despite a one-hour journey over rough, bumpy roads and the scorching summer heat, every challenge faded when we witnessed the overwhelming response from the community. The camp saw a huge patient turnout, with nearly 90% of attendees being women, highlighting the immense need for accessible neurological healthcare in rural areas and reinforcing why outreach camps like these are so important.
Beyond consultations, the day was enriched with a Pulse Polio awareness initiative, tree plantation, and, most importantly, with the blessings of the sacred Devi Darshan, making it a truly meaningful experience.
My heartfelt gratitude to all the members of the Lions Club, Gudur, my wonderful team, Dileef Nursing sisters, and everyone who contributed to making this camp a success. Together, we continue to bridge the neurological treatment gap—one village at a time.

Neurology on Wheels completed our 60th village visit at Ravigunta palem, @ Vakadu mandal, and 269th medical camp today.
This camp had been pending for nearly four months due to multiple scheduling challenges. Thanks to Hemanth and team for the local hospitality.
Despite a long 2-hour journey, extreme heat nearing 38°C, and diesel unavailability causing vehicle challenges, we stayed committed.
We detected drug-naive patients with stroke, hypertension, epilepsy, and Parkinson’s disease.
A challenging day, but a deeply meaningful and impactful one. Grateful to my team and community for making it worthwhile.🙏🏻🙏🏻

Today’s camp was tiring yet truly fulfilling. We were humbled by the overwhelming participation.
A patient with a stroke for two days was brought to us. With no relative available to help, we contacted his son in another village and ensured the patient was shifted safely to the Government Hospital for urgent care.
We also saw four stroke survivors who were not on any treatment. All have now been counselled and advised to attend regular follow-up in our monthly camps.
There were several patients with newly detected hypertension, diabetes, migraine, and Parkinson’s disease, who will now begin appropriate management.
Surprisingly, a few patients had travelled long distances after seeing our social media post. Their trust truly touches our hearts—bless them all.
A heartfelt thanks to Dr Prasad and the entire MACTS team for their extremely well-organised arrangements and warm hospitality. My sincere gratitude to my own team for their unwavering dedication.

Today was a true test of perseverance. Despite the scorching heat and an unexpected vehicle breakdown (yes, we had to push it ourselves! ), our journey continued.
We screened 100+ people, and the findings were eye-opening: Nearly 50% with undetected hypertension & diabetes, Patients with stroke & epilepsy not on treatment. Several other possible neurological conditions
A tiring day, yet deeply fulfilling. Every mile reminds us why this mission matters — to take neurology to those who need it most.

Completed our 57th Neurology on Wheels camp at Iskapalli, Allur Mandal—more than an hour’s drive, but worth every moment.
We met patients with untreated and defaulted cases of hypertension, stroke, and epilepsy—a reminder of the urgent need for awareness and regular medicines.
Grateful for the warmth of the patients, the dedication of my team, and the wholehearted support of the local organizers.
