NEUROLOGY ON WHEELS
10th November 2019.
NEUROLOGY ON WHEELS at Pedda Patapu Palem village in Vidavulur Mandal.
Motto of WE REACH, WE TEACH, WE TREAT was followed.
Patients were given an awareness programme and then free camp with BP, stroke, epilepsy and other neurological disorders were screened with distribution of medicines was done.
Totals of 123 patients were screened.
32 new cases of Hypertension were identified, 5 cases of Diabetes were identified, 14 patients with stroke ( Only 2 patients were on medicines !).
We sincerely thank Dr Nagendra, Mr. M Narasimha, Mr. K Srinivas, Mr. Polaiah for the smooth conduction of the camp and the local hospitality.

World Stroke Day 2019
A lecture on Stroke was given to the Medical Officers.
We thank DMHO Dr Rajyalakshmi.
Medical officers form the backbone and hence the talk was focused on stroke prevention, recognition of stroke symptoms and importance of time Window period, treatment and post stroke care.
The meeting was attended by 120 medical officers.
There was an excellent interaction.
