29th October . WORLD STROKE DAY was organised at Simhapuri Hospital. A bike rally was flagged by DMHO Dr Koteswari. 50 bike riders with the FAST Board on the bikes went around whole of nellore and returned back..

Free epilepsy camp 19th October 2014


Free epilepsy camp was held. Patients were given free medicines. the next camp is scheduled on Nov 23rd .

12-10-2014 Free stroke camp


Free stroke camp was held. 95 patients were given free medications and few underwent blood investigation. Women as patients and caregivers shared their experiences with others. the next camp is scheduled on 16th November.

Awareness programme on Stroke And Epilepsy 2nd October 2014


An Awareness programme on Stroke And Epilepsy was held at Rotary Club Gudur. Around 60 members attended the programme. The Stroke campaign theme on ‘I am Woman; Stroke affects me ‘ was emphasized. There was a good interaction.

21-09-2014 A Memory Walk


A memory walk was held. More than 500 members participated in the walk. The walk was flagged by honorable Mayor Shree Haji Shaik Abdul Aziz. Initially a pamphlet with 10 salient points to identify dementia was released which was distributed among the public. Honorable Mayor congratulated and wished success in future.

World Alzheimer’s day 21st September 2014


Free epilepsy camp was held. Patients were distributed free medicines. All patients held placards related to dementia and marked the World Alzheimer’s day.21st September 2014.The next camp is scheduled for October 19th.

6th September 2014 World Alzheimer’s Month 2014


A press meet was held to increase the the awareness about Alzheimer’s disease. The theme for World Alzheimer’s Month 2014 ‘Dementia: Can we reduce the risk?’ was emphasised. The stages of dementia and caregiver education was highlighted. Memory clinic every Saturday was started.

24th August 2014 FREEDOM FROM EPILEPSY


Campaign was held. Epilepsy patients were given free consultation and medicines for a month. To mark the event balloons were released by all patients. As the balloons soared high in the air patients felt very thrilled, a feeling that they had freedom from epilepsy.

The next camp is scheduled on 21 st September.
